Whilst my tiny boats sit waiting for their varnish to dry, I thought I’d share one of my Blood Bowl teams. These are my Pro Elves:
The models are from an Australian company called Grid Iron, known for producing female miniatures. This is one of a couple of Grid Iron teams I own, but the first that I have actually finished painting up. The colour scheme is simple and keeps to a limited palette. They were also the first team I ‘dipped’ using a product similar to wood stain. I am quite happy with the results as it acts like a cross between an ink wash and a coat of varnish. It leaves them a little shiny, so I dulled them down with a quick coat of anti-shine varnish.
This is one of three Blood Bowl teams I currently have painted up.
